After more than 10 years of dating, rapper Juelz Santana and reality star Kimbella officially tied the knot on Thursday, according to VH1.com. The couple exchanged vows during a private New York City ceremony in front of their family and friends, which included fellow Love & Hip Hop castmates Remy Ma, Papoose, and Maino. Fellow rappers Lil Kim and members of Santana’s rap group, The Diplomats, were also in attendance.
Santana proposed to Kimbella in November 2018 during a sold-out performance at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York. In April, the rapper was ar-rested at a New Jersey airport on weapons and d-rug charges.
During Season Nine of the VH1 reality series, the longtime couple discussed the impact the ar-rest had had on their family. They also explained to their children that their father would be away for 27 months.
In December, it was reported that Santana took a plea deal and was sentenced to 27 months. There are no details available yet on when his p-rison time will begin, but the couple tied the knot before their extended time apart.
