There’s about to be a new member of Kane Brown’s family. The 25-year-old country music sensation showed off his wife Katelyn Jae’s sonogram on Monday while announcing her pregnancy.
It would be the first child for the What Ifs singer and his 26-year-old wife. ‘It’s been so hard keeping this a secret!!!!!’ he gushed in the caption for the ultrasound photo.
‘But the KB’S ARE GONNA BE PARENTS!!! KB3.
IM GONNA BE A DADDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’ he continued in his best written approximation of shouting. The new baby will be joining a musical family, as Katelyn is also a singer. The couple tied the knot just outside Nashville, Tennessee, on October 12, 2018.
In a November 2018 interview with Taste Of Country, Kane revealed that his friend and fellow country music star Jason Aldean, as well as his wife Brittany Aldean, constantly asked the newlyweds if they were going to have a baby.

‘Kaetlyn wants to wait until she’s, like, 30,’ Kane said at the time. ‘I’m not complaining,’ he added, though their timeline seems to have sped up a bit as Katelyn’s only 26.
They may have decided to have a child sooner than originally planned, but the Heaven singer was clear that he wanted ‘one or two kids’ even last year.
He and Katelyn dated two years prior to their marriage. The couple announced their engagement in April of 2017.
According to People, Kane’s proposal didn’t go quite the way he planned. Rather than waiting another day to propose with traditionally romantic rose petals, he got impatient and popped the question the night before, while watching the supernatural thriller The Amityville Horror.
The horror film, about a family beset by evil lurking in a house where a mass mu-rder was committed, wasn’t an obvious choice for a romantic proposal, but it seems to have done the job.
